Who We Are

The Sarah Bush Lincoln Health System Library is located at 1000 Health Center Drive, Mattoon, IL.  The Library is on the Ground Floor across from the Basement Bistro (cafeteria).  The Sarah Bush Library provides free services to all residents living within our service area - Coles, Moultrie, Douglas, Edgar, Shelby, Cumberland, Clark, and Effingham counties.  

The library has over 1,200 books, 100 DVDs & videos, 100 print journals and 1,800 full-text electronic jounrals.  Nearly all are clinical medical materials.  Several items are consumer health items written for the general user. 

Materials are available for check out only to SBL employees.  A copy machine is available for anyone to use.   Since the Health Center is physically located in the country between Mattoon and Charleston, the Library staff would be happy to send needed information to you.  Call (217) 258- or 348-2263 or email Library@sbhls.org with your request.
