This page discusses mental health. Achieving positive mental health especially in a time of fluctuating hormones and rapid development can be like hiking on rough terrain. Information found herre may be helpful in navigating this path.

Having a healthy mind and body means dealing with the changes in your body - and your mind. Relationships, body image, families, emotions - all of these topics affect mental health.  Teenagers face a myriad of pressures, from the changes of puberty to questions about who they are and where they fit in. The natural transition from child to adult can be traumatic and it is not always easy to differentiate between depression and normal teenage moodiness. Moreover, signs of depression may be more than just the appearance of sadness and may manifest themselves in other behavioral cues such as irritability, aggression, and rage.
